We are proud to host our 2018 Annual Charity Fundraiser benefiting A Wider Circle and So Others Might Eat, two wonderful, local charities on Wednesday, October 10th! The event offers a fun day for everyone! While the golfers are out on the links, join members of the AFS team in the clubhouse for non-golf games and fun! All are welcome to come play Life-size Jenga, Yard Pong, Corn Hole, Window Tic-Tac-Toe, and more at the Falls Road Golf Course Clubhouse.

This is one of our favorite days of the year because it's a day to give back to our communities, play a few games, and have fun! Expect to enjoy a day of friendly competition where you can network and also dominate in Corn Hole with peers. Reception will begin at 4:30 with heavy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. All raffle winners will be announced at the reception and you must be present to win.

Golf Personal Headers-1How will your donations help?

You will be making an enormous and positive impact in your communities by helping these nonprofits meet their initiatives, big and small.

A Wider Circle's mission is simple: to end poverty for individuals and families, one after the other. Through various programs, AWC provides basic needs to foster stability and independence for those they serve, as well as long-term support in the form of multiple programs centered around workforce readiness, wellness and more.

So Others Might Eat (SOME) is an interfaith, community-based organization helping the poor and homeless of our nation's capital. They meet the immediate daily needs of the people they serve with food, clothing, and health care. They work to break the cycle of homelessness, offering services such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, the elderly, and individuals with mental illness. Each day, SOME is restoring hope and dignity one person at a time.
