How I got here:
Starting in southern California 25 years ago, and after leaving the consumer products industry, I became licensed as an advisor and worked with a small division of Lincoln Financial Advisors, primarily serving institutions (mostly hospitals) and individuals in the non-profit world for 7 years in the southern California and Las Vegas markets. Relocating to the Washington D.C. area, I briefly worked with a record keeper before joining a local advisory group, Greenberg, Wexler & Eig, where I managed qualified retirement plans for almost 15 years. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with a variety of successful business owners and individuals, more than tripling our managed assets and forming numerous close, long-lasting relationships — many of which included meeting members of the AFS team. Now, after years of socializing and encountering them at industry events, I feel fortunate to join the AFS/HUB group and am both comfortable and honored to be among them.

What I do really well:
I enjoy both the educational and financial aspects of our business. When someone is unfamiliar with or doesn't enjoy investing, I find satisfaction in simplifying concepts and making them clear and easy to understand.  Early in my career, I was explaining retirement plans and investing to someone completely unfamiliar with our business and he said that I broke it down for him and it was easy to understand– hopefully, I’m continuing to do that.
